Don't Stay at Breezes Curacao!!!

Review by: Hart
Date: 22 Jan, 2007
Once a year we plan a family vacation. Nine family members went to Breezes
Curacao. When we arrived our room was dirty, no hot water, and no AC (not to
mention we were on the 'topless' beach). The hotel knew we had 3 children under
the age of 10.
The next morning we were moved to another room (after sleeping in the heat and
taking cold showers!). When our luggage was transfered to the other room this is
when the CRIME happened. My nine year old daughters DVD player Ipod and SEVERAL
DVD's were STOLEN. These things never made it to our other room!
We spent hours during the rest of our week with hotel management. They did
nothing for us.
Our family had spent hours calling an insurance company and contacting Breezes
Curacao management again. The management had lied about where we actually were
during the transfer of our luggage.
At this point it's not about the money we deserve to replace my daughters
belongings (including gifts from Santa!).
We are honest people and it will be hard to explain to the children that other
people will not take responsibilty for their actions.
I advise anyone looking into staying at Breezes Curacao or a Superclub
affiliated property to look further. There are many beautiful and respecful
places to stay in the Carribbean.
